What Do You Want?

What_Do_You_Want     Sometimes blogging feels like sitting in a closet, writing your heart out, and slipping the post under the door... Waiting for an answer...
Sometimes the world responds and you have to scramble to find an adequate response...
This blog is currently between those two situations...
I thought a simple survey might make it easier for you to let me know what you'd like to see here...

Hi Alexander, I really identify with your thoughts -

"Sometimes blogging feels like sitting in a closet, writing your heart out, and slipping the post under the door... Waiting for an answer...

Sometimes the world responds and you have to scramble to find an adequate response..."

I have a few blogs myself, and over time I have decided that it just seems to be the way it is? Some things happen to touch people and provoke response.

I have found that lots of people read but don't leave comments. Before I became a blogger and until fairly recently, I used to do just that myself but then realised that it is good to comment, even just to thank someone for the post.

I hope you find the answers you are looking for with your poll. :-)

I'm commenting before I take the survey but sometimes it's hard to know what questions to ask to know what you want, if that makes any sense. What I do know is that I want an personal way to fully understand and intergrate my birthchart thereby understanding who I am. Hopefully that will lead to understanding why I'm here and what am I supposed to be doing on this earth.

I've only been reading for a couple of weeks but I really appreciate your blogging. Many of us I think who appreciate this type of interaction are the "quiet types". We more than likely read every post, even going back to read all the previous posts if we've joined the blog well after it's beginnings, but because we are not "talkative" we don't always comment. Please know that your blog is appreciated...a lot.

I very much appreciate your comment, fullroller!

I may want folks to comment alot but I certainly understand why folks don't.

Thing is, with the B.I.D.E. System, the more people interact with and share their use of it, the more we all learn!!

Hi Alexander, I just discovered your site today, quickly resonated with your statement that astrology is about making meaning rather than predicting events and spent a pleasurable few hours reading both your site and your book.

I delved more deeply into astrology about five years ago in an attempt to help myself through a very challenging time and found it both enlightening and confusing at the same time. The 'enlightening' was due to the insights I gained at the time; the 'confusing' exactly as you referenced, came from the plethora of interpretations out there that often left me puzzled and frustrated. I too, finally organized (Virgo Sun and Mercury) what I'd investigated in order to better serve my need to make meaning. I have much more I want to do, and need to do in this area as my life continues to be deeply challenging. I think this could be a big help to me.
Appreciating you,
Sheila

Sheila,

Thanks for the encouraging comment!

Not just that you found value in the blog but that you've done your *own* work in understanding astrology.

I was 20 years into my studies before the "confusion" hit its peak and I had an *Aha* moment--what led to a System that can be used to stimulate the practitioner's own deep Meanings...

Look forward to more comments from you--especially, ones that show your use of the System!!

Hi Alexander,

I'm late taking this survey because I am just discovering you!

I'd rank:
1. Famous Birthcharts! (Reg feature)
2. General Astro Techniques! (Reg feature)
3. Transits! (More often than not)

Everything else. (More often than not)
